Our forests are our future. You can help protect them one tree at a time!In the last few years, record wildfires across North America have devastated our national forests and destroyed millions of trees. Many areas have burned so severely that seeds from the fallen trees can't even do their job properly. In fact, way back in 2005, the U.S. Forest Service identified a backlog of more than one million acres in need of new trees. But, as each year brings on more firestorms, the Service's funds are diverted to fighting the fires instead of replanting trees in these scorched areas. It's up to us to plant trees across North America! Here at Pure Bar, we've pledged to plant a tree for every 3 Pure Bars you purchase. We're not stopping until we have tens of thousands of trees in every one of our parks, reserves and backdoor habitats. It's easy to participate in our Buy 3, Plant a Tree Campaign. Since we started this little grass roots for trees campaign, we've had hundreds of entries rolling in.There are two easy ways to get involved in Pure Bar's Buy 3, Plant a Tree campaign Option #1: Some people actually mail us the Plant a Tree entry form with the three Pure Bar wrappers (we're awash in wrappers here at headquarters. Some folks mail us dozens of wrappers at once, which warms our hearts)Option #2: And some people choose to enter the Plant a Tree store receipt and entry form electronically.
